Veteran's Day Parade St. Louis, MO November 10, 2007 The Coachman's Car Club and friends joined in the Veteran's Day Parade on Saturday, November 10th. What a great day to celebrate this holiday and the weather was beautiful. The actual parade was very large..as in the past, there were more participating in the parade than there was watching..The motorcycle's came in force and there was many groups of Corvette's, marching groups, military groups, and much more.. It was a fun day and a parade in the city would not be complete without lunch at Rigazzi's.. November 11th is Veteran's Day. Let us all take time out to remember our Veteran's. Many of us know fallen Veterans, remember them always! Let us also remember those who served our nation just by being in uniform. As we all know, they are there at the ready, to guard our freedom, and protect our beliefs. I for one, will not forget, especially when we have troops in foreign countries doing a job, (right or wrong), wearing a military uniform, following orders given, in the belief that their commanders, are knowledgeable enough to only command them to do what is right. So take a moment to say a prayer for our men in uniform, and pray for the leaders of our great nation under GOD, to have the wisdom and courage to do the jobs asked of them. We do not need to lose any more of our rights or our freedoms. We can help as civilians by remembering those who served and those who are presently serving. Look at the Nations Flag and remember what it means...... Now go thank a veteran, as I'm going to do.. Your friend and fellow American, John |
