A group of us T-Bucket & Hot Rodder's braved the cold weather to be in the 27th Christmas
in St. Louis Parade on Thanksgiving Day.. Temperature was not as cold as in previous years,
when we left at 6:30 am.. Some of these cars had no heaters, windows, or tops..Even with no
snow flurries, the local business' at our staging area was a welcomed site..They estimated there
was over 70,000 people in attendance at the parade..  Watching the parade has been a tradtion
for many local families for decades. Dozens of marching bands, floats, balloons and more
help kick off the holiday season in St. Louis.
The parade is always a popular destination for families in search of entertainment such as live
music, dance performances and photo opportunities with the man himself, Santa Claus.

The annual Ameren Missouri Thanksgiving Day Parade is hosted by Christmas in St. Louis
along with presenting sponsor Ameren Missouri. The parade's charitable recipients are the
Academy of St. Louis and the Miriam Foundation.

After the parade, we all headed home to have our "Thankful" feast of food..
Thanks to the Marnatti's, Baudo's, Piskulic's and Pfitzinger's for participating in this year's
parade
